Job : 

Contribute to the definition of Ynsect’s new technologies and processes, taking part in the valorization of data from R&D and industrial sources and the definition of prediction models.

Missions : 
Participation to the definition of a corporate data framework
• In collaboration with the IT department and the date engineer team, study of the needs for data availability from internal expert teams
• Definition of a common framework to help the industrialization of data collection and analysis

Data analysis
• Extraction and analysis of relevant data from various sources, from R&D and plants, to improve operational excellence
• Management of on-demand studies to answer requests from expert teams
• Support operational team in the design and construction of their dashboards

Model development
• In collaboration with the expert teams, development of predictive models : industrial processes simulation, predictive maintenance models, image recognition models…
• Development of optimization tools for these models
• Case studies, restitutions

About you : 

• Msc, graduate engineering degree, PhD in applied mathematics, operational research, data science or related fields
• Knowledge and professional use of bayesian statistical methods
• Knowledge and professional use of data science languages and frameworks (Python, R, Julia, sci-kit learn, keras, pytorch, fast.ai…)
• More than 5 years professional experience in a data scientist position
• French and English spoken and written
